david thompson secondary school graduation – invermere, bc

after a really bizarre few weeks of weather the 2012 dtss grad photo shoot at strands restaurant was a huge success! Congratulations to all of the grads and their parents for an awesome shoot this year… we photographed 125 graduates along with their families and friends!! Everyone looked amazing and we had a beautiful day in the sunshine.

Thanks very much to Tony and Strands Restaurant for being so open to our huge event and allowing us to use the beautiful space with the promise of shelter if we had rain. Thanks also to Claire Dibble for second shooting on this event for me. There were far too many shots to capture alone and I appreciated her helping us out and capturing amazing family photos for everyone. Thanks to my assistants Tanya De Leeuw and thomas Baden-Clare who did a fantastic job. having the day run smoothly was hinged on the coordination of the schedule inside, so thanks to my amazing mom carol and our volunteer hillary for making that happen.

Thanks to DTSS for donating the use of the wooden ladders for our spectacular set-up on the big group shot and to Byron Leinor and Norcon Developments for the use of the wooden horses.
Thank you to the Grad Committee for organizing things and ensuring that the information got out to the parents, specifically to Kelly Tomalty and Hilda Jensen.

thanks so much to everyone who helped make this day happen, it was a direct result of a great team of people and an awesome group of grads and parents. i love being a part of a huge group effort like this and always enjoy getting involved with the community!
